Ammachi, tsunami relief, and donation opportunities

Many of us are familiar with Ammachi (Mata Amritanandamayi), the "hugging saint", from her visits to the U.S. each year. You may not be aware of her humanitarian efforts. Please take a look at the link below for info on what her organization has been doing to help victims of the tsunami throughout India. There are also some videos and slides of the flooding and the relief operations, in addition to information on making donations.

My heart goes out to all the victims of this tragedy, and I am sure all of us are sending prayers their way. If you would like to do a little karma yoga and send donations in addition, here are a few organizations that are doing important relief work in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, and other affected locations.
